One day trip from Montreal - wine tasting at Domaine des Côtes d'Ardoise

W pewną słoneczną sobotę wybraliśmy się do Domaine des Côtes d'Ardoise, która jest najstarszą winiarnią w prowincji Quebec (ma 35 lat - bardzo stara, prawda? :)). Miejsce to jest bardzo ładnie położone, oprócz winnic i testowania wina można przyjrzeć się dziesiątkom rzeźb wykonanym przez kanadyjskich artystów. 

Wybór win jest niemały - można skosztować win czerwonych, białych, różowych, a także "le vin de glace", czyli bardzo słodkich i gęstych win deserowych, które są naprawdę pyszne. Ich wina zdobywają co roku wiele nagród.

Winiarnia oferuje kilka pakietów, my wybraliśmy 7 win - 2 czerwone, jedno różowe, 2 białe i 2 "lodowe wina", największy pakiet oferuje aż 10 win. 

Jest to miły sposób na spędzenie dnia na zewnątrz, w ładnym otoczeniu i przy miłej obsłudze.

One sunny Saturday we went to Domaine des Côtes d'Ardoise- the oldest winery in Quebec (it's only 35 years old, so for someone from Europe it's not that old ;)). The place is really nice, you can not only see beautiful vineyards and do the wine tasting, you can also see a lot of sculptures that were made by Canadian artists.

The choice of wines is quite big, you can taste red, rosé, white and "le vin de glace", very thick and sweet dessert wines, that I really love. The wines offered in this winery win a lot of prizes every year.

It depends on you how many wines will you taste. We chose 7 - 2 red, one rosé, 2 white and 2 "ice wines", but you can taste more.

It's a really nice way to spend a sunny day, in a beautiful place with nice service.
