Pewnie o tym dobrze wiecie, a jeśli nie wiecie, to teraz Wam powiem: Kanadyjczycy kochają hokeja. Choć teoretycznie sportem narodowym tego kraju jest curling, to tak naprawdę mało kto go ogląda. Tutaj liczy się przede wszystkim hokej na lodzie. Dlatego wcale nie zdziwił mnie ten oto prezent:

Trudno powiedzieć, jakie zespoły są najlepsze (poza Canadiens de Montreal, oczywiście ;)), wiadomo jednak, które mają najdłuższą historię. Pierwsze sześć zespołów, które weszły w skład NHL (National Hockey League) to: 

1. Montreal Canadiens

2. Toronto Maple Leafs

3. Boston Bruins

4. Chicago Black Hawks

5. Detroit Red Wings

6. New York Rangers.

Stadion Bell

Mecze w Montrealu odbywają się na stadionie Bell (Bell Centre). Stadion prawie zawsze jest przepełniony fanami Canadiensów w czerwonych t-shirtach. Mecz teoretycznie trwa 60 minut (3x20 min), ale jest co chwilę przerywany - pracownicy muszą czyścić lód, poza tym na oglądających czekają niespodzianki i konkursy, niestety mnie jeszcze nigdy nie udało się nic wygrać (smuteczek).

Mimo, że nie jestem wielką fanką sportów zespołowych (a oglądania ich to już w ogóle :)), bardzo lubię mecze hokeja i naprawdę się nimi stresuję!

You probably know it very well, but if you don't - I'm going to tell you right now! Canadians LOVE hockey. Even though (theoretically) the national sport of Canada is curling, (almost) no one cares about it - with ice hockey it's the opposite case - (almost) everyone watches it and they really love it.

It's hard to say which teams are the best (except for Canadiens de Montreal but it's obvious ;)) because it changes almost every year, but we know which teams have the longest history. Those are the one that created the NHL (National Hockey League):

1. Montreal Canadiens

Bell Centre

All the games in Montreal take place in the Bell Centre. The stadium is almost always full of Canadiens fans in their red jerseys. Theoretically the game takes 60 minutes (3x20 minutes) but there are breaks every few minutes - they need to clean the ice. Also there are a lot of attractions prepared for the Habs fans, although I never won anything. Sad.

People who know me would probably tell you that I usually hate team sports (especially watching them) but I really like watching hockey and I'm really stressed everytime!
