Czasem odnoszę wrażenie, że w Kanadzie je się więcej "ciast" na słono, niż na słodko. Bo przecież jest Shepard's pie, meat pie... No właśnie! Dziś będzie o meat pie, czyli mięsnym cieście.

Potrawa ta składa się z mięsa mielonego i ciasta (nie do końca wiem, jakie to ciasto - smakuje trochę jak nasze francuskie, jednak jest bardziej jednolite i grubsze).

Potrawę je się (między innymi) podczas...Wigilii :) Danie to jest smaczne i sycące - warto spróbować, jeśli będziecie mieli okazję :)

Sometimes I have a feeling, that in Canada, they mostly eat salty pies instead of the sugary ones ;) Because they have all those Shepard's pies, Meat pies... Exactly! The meat pie!!

This dish is consisted of minced meat and dough - I'm not sure what kind of dough is that though. It's something similar to the dough we call "French" in Poland, but a little thicker.

The meat pie is one of the dishes presented on the Christmas table. It's really filling and delicious - really worth trying when you'll have a chance.
